My legs look like my great great grandmothers. They are dry and cracked like crazy. My heels could sand a boat they are so rough. I sand on them and lotion them every night.
When I was a dental assistant, I had terrible, terrible dry hands from washing between each patient. They would crack and bleed all the time. I would put on vaseline and then put baggies over my hands to go to bed. I woke up in the morning and they were soft as soft. I've done it with my feet too. Maybe see if that would work for you. You could put on lotion, then baggies and then socks to bed. Just be sure you don't try to walk with baggies on your feet. It is too slippery.
I find the 20 minute soak in plain water then the wax to keep the moisture in helps too. the wax has some oils in it, so that helps too with the heat. Good luck. I do hands an feet, but not often...
Best wishes for happy feet,
Maruska
