Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.
Hi all, I have received a message from an Olga in Germany who is interested in DM as she has a friend who has it and apparently does not take medication for it and is doing well. If you are reading this Olga, please feel free to share this information on this site as we would all love to not be able to take medication.
