Hello and great for you all. How does one go about getting into John Hopes or Cleveln Clinic or any of these studies. My old neurologist had suggested one last year for me but didn;t give me any info when I told him that I couldn't afford to go anywhere to seek care.

Do they pay for the hotel and everything? I am tired of receiving bills and feeling as if I am fighting this battle alone and just putting them in a folder like a deadbeat. I also want to stop hurting from the neuropathy which I am quite sure is the main problem now since my PM seems to be at a standstill but can pop up at any time. I am now itching all the time and swollen like a balloon. I can;t even stand to comb my hair or try to put on any clothing other than the same long dresses (2) that I wear around the house and anywhere else I can get away with wearing them. To be 58 and have someone tell me what I am wearing is pretty when in fact it is something which a 15 would probably be wearing is insulting but I just say thank you an dknow that they are being kind. It will be this way for a while as I can't afford to buy anything due to cost plus the up and down, more up than down of my weight these days. Any advise on trials is welcome. Not proofreading. It takes too long to correct.

We are actually in the process of selling our home and moving in with my parents. Not the ideal situation with kids but I cannot afford to keep the house on my own and our government has not helped us either yet.. so it is a step we have to take. Needless to say our income is low.. we held a benefit to get us to John Hopkins. We did a golf tournament and sold bbq plates for $5, we are also going to have a huge neighbothood garage sale to help us get through the summer. It takes some planning but I am going to get my hubby the help he needs no matter what i have to do! It also helps that we have a wonderful team of Dr's that all encouraged us to get to John Hopkins. They wrote letters for us to ensure Eddie's case would be taken seriously had it worked! I also got some great info from the people on this site to get the ball rolling... please stay positive... you look like such an attractive women, dont let this diease take you down!!
