Polymyositis & Dermatomyositis Support Group

Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.

Hi Angelimic., I started a series of exercises in September under the guidance of a Physiotherapist. It has taken six months of hard work but its successful, it does not work overnight. I also bought a pedometer and use it to make sure I cover 10.000 steps walking each day. Good luck and keep at it. Best wishes. Autumm

thats great autumm. the had work is so worth it :)
maybe ill get one also , would be good to know what im capable of .
im just so very happy that i am able to work out again. its such a great feeling !
