Polymyositis & Dermatomyositis Support Group
Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.
Happy Christmas to all here and everywhere with Myositis. Thank you for advice and support since diagnosis in August. Good and bad days still but mostly find my answers here from a wonderful group of fellow travellers. I love to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. I think His birth was one of the most exciting events in human history. I wish I could have been in Bethlehem with the shepherds when Gabriel made the announcement. It would be so awesome to see the giant star, and the angelic order of battle pass in review above the manger! The sounds of billions of angelic hosts saluting the creator of our universe, who became a perfect man (the mediator between God & man) and went willingly to the cross at age 33, to fulfill God The Fathers will of paying for our sins. I am speechless when I think of all The Lord has done! Merry Christmas.
