Working at home allows me to pace myself and work in spurts when needed (as Lexis always recommends). Here are some articles that speak of legitimate online jobs. Hope they help you.

Final thoughts: (1) helping senior citizens in your area by taking them to doctor appointments (or whatever else they need), and (2) checking with local small businesses to see if they need an occasional or part-time person for telephone or office work. Best wishes to you, freelee.
The problem with DM is going back to school for any type of career training may be unrealistic. I would hate to start training for a new career and need to stop due to being sick. I totally relate to how you are feeling. It is not just physical stamina that is a consideration. The intensiveness of the job due to focus, dead lines, customer service, etc..is also such a big issue for DM/PM. I can not do high paced, intensive work. My brain is also not sharp.
Nanny has offered some good work at home suggestions. In addition, you could look at your cities local unemployment office for job training skill classes. A job as a collections agent is a nice, seated, phone work type job that could make some money with incentive bonuses. Apartment management where you could sit down might be a good idea too. Look at the available part-time jobs in your city. Discuss what is realistic for you with the doctor.
Keep us posted. Best Wishes.
I think everyone is different in their abilities. I would talk to your doctor and let him know you want to go back to work and need help figuring out what would be okay with your personal limits. They could send you for a professional evaluation to determine good jobs for you and your abilities.
Another option is going on disability if you really can't work. If you are in the US, you might be eligible for SS Disability which will provide some income.
I am always trying to do things online - I have websites and blogs - but make very little money from it - $60 per week from ads. Thanks again
