I started back on the Cellcept a couple of weeks ago and I don't know if it is working, but I have not had any negative side effects and in fact I am feeling better each day. I have noticed that I am taking much less pain medication. I was taking 4 Aleves in a 24 hour period, which is more than the drug maker suggests, but my primary had said that it was okay to take 4. Then I was down to only 2 when and if I needed them and I came to realize that there were many days that I didn't need them.

I wouldn't take them for my regular everyday thigh pain, which in itself is weird to consider it a regular everyday pain, but I can tolerate it. Then the other day I realized that aspirin is probably just as effective and probably better for any pain that I may have as long as I coat my stomach, which with all the fiber that I am eating should be fine.

I am still on 20mgs of Prednisone twice a day, so I don't know what I will feel like when my doctor starts to taper me off, but I will deal with that when that day comes. For now I am taking advantage of these good days. Have a great weekend.
