I just wanted to inform those with calcinosis that there is help possibly. I went to see a bone and mineral specialist. I in all honestly thought all I would be receiving was more information. Any time you look up calcinosis it seems as though there is nothing they can do.

However, they told me they have been trying a new medication and have had success! It is an IV solution you go for 1-2 per week, for a couple hours at a time. They start you out with a benadryl solution. They said I would have to do this for 6-8 weeks. . I am going to try it. I will update as I go along. I don't have all the details yet. They say it has worked but may not work for everyone. It is supposed to "melt" away the calcinosis. I am really hoping it works. My eyes lit up and I couldn't quit smiling at just the possibility of it being gone.
