I've not had all of your symptoms but some. I have the taste thing and the metallic thing. Both are from Methotrexate I am told. It has been very difficult to adjust too. Try sucking on hard candy when you have that metallic taste. It should help.

As far as the others, it sounds like you might be allergic to something. Perhaps shellfish or cinnamon? Does it come and go or is it constant?

I hope you get some relief soon.

Have you had dental work done recently? A friend of mine (without PM) had "burning mouth/tongue syndrome" as a result of dental work. She really felt miserable until it passed (after a few months). I will pray for you. Keep us informed.

I had the terrible metallic taste you are describing, and it is from MTX. I did not have the burned tongue feeling. I think you should discuss the burned feeling with your doctor. The metallic taste will fade away over time. I also had a loss of smell. Unfortunately, the metallic taste lasted for three months before mine went away. Drinks like coffee tasted horrible. I also had to try different spices to cover the metal taste on my food. More ketchup on burgers does not help. This will eventually fade away. The metallic taste is intolerable but try your best to cover it with spices. Keep us posted.
