Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.
Anyone know anything about what it might mean to have brisk reflexes in arms? 2 specialists confirmed this on me yesterday and when i asked what it meant 1 said 'it's good' and the other 1 made a weird face!
