It was so nice to hear of the beautiful weather today in Tampa, and even nicer to hear of your plans for the day. I certainly hope you were able to enjoy the day fully. I will pray that your thigh pain subsides and that you'll get around even better in the days to come. And I hope your daughter is doing better too.

I had commented earlier about going to the library today because it would be quieter than most times and to my surprise I got there and the internet was down so it was very quiet. I have no problem with libraries having computers and in fact have used them often myself, but many of the people who come into the library to use the computers don't seem to understand that libraries are suppose to be quiet and many times they have their cellphones on and actually take calls and are generally noisier than people who go to the library to read.

I can spend hours on end at the library. My new walker has a seat attached and I actually was able to use it while reviewing magazines on lower shelves. I am one of those people who love small bookstores instead of chains. I love to run my hands along the books to see if they speak to me. My daughter's ankle is feeling a little better and she is in her element being in beauty school. She has always loved doing hair and as a child had dozens of Barbie dolls and was always redoing their hair. She graduated from UCF in May with a BA, but couldn't find a job in her field so she took a job at HSN's call center and hated it. She was having anxiety attacks everyday until I finally realized that she was really miserable and had her resign and now she is looking for a part time job while in beauty school. Beauty school is only 7 months so hopefully our finances will not put us in the poorer house before then.

I have faith that all will work out. I don't want her to wind up working at a job just for a paycheck and hating what she does. She wants to own her own salon.

What a nice post. In SD it's very warm for two days and then it will be more normal. We don't get the fall leaves here which I miss being from back East.

I totally have to agree that I love the small things - you mentioned one of them - the breeze in the morning - nothing better and to hear the birds, really.]

I totally agree with you on the library - my mother studied to be a librarian - but I love peace and quiet. It is annoying in this day and age with all the cellphones!

I am so glad your daughter loves what she does - she will be great at it if she does - as Steve Jobs said in the commencement speech - follow your heart and intuition -

It's beautiful in Michigan too. I have to stay out of the sun because of my skin issues, but I love the fresh air coming in the windows. I love when the sun hits the fall colors on the trees! It's like a beautiful painting!

QuilterDe I am originally from MI and miss the turning of the leaves and the delicious apples and fall vegetables.

I did it!!. Legoland with my grand daughter and her friend was great. I was able to walk the entire park with just my walker and didn't need to use a motorized scooter. I had a older lady come up to me and congratulate me for using my walker to get out and about. She said she teaches a class and has people who will tell her they can't do anything because they have to use a walker. I did it with the grace of God. One day at a time. Thank you Lord for always taking care of me.
