I need to get a hair cut and find a new style. I get set in a rut with my hair. I think something three inches shorter might be a good idea. I have this fine hair texture that is curly. I do need to do something to my locks.
Well, you have inspired me! I will let you know what I do with my hair.
Congratulations on moving forward!
I'm so glad to hear your able to do your own hair. It will hopefully continue to get easier!
BREnda!!! Darling you are beautiful inside and out!!! How can you even say that... I hope you are feeling better soon,
Shawna
I can relate with the hair thing -- got mine cut shoulder length to help with maintenance too. I've lost a lot of thickness from the prednisone medication. Has anyone experienced hair loss?
Yay! Congratulations on your recent success. Best wishes for continued forward progress.
@Brenda
I agree with Shawna and LPey--you are beautiful inside and out.
@LPey
Prednisone made my hair very soft, fine, and limp--like a baby's. But after getting off prednisone, it's back to being coarse and unmanageable. It had to grow out. While on prednisone, a hairdresser told me that prednisone is hard on hair, second only to heart meds. At that time she also told me not to use chemicals or heat on my hair, and to shampoo infrequently, making sure to use a moisturizer (not just a conditioner).
