Polymyositis & Dermatomyositis Support Group
Polymyositis (PM) is a type of chronic inflammation of the muscles (inflammatory myopathy) related to dermatomyositis and inclusion body myositis. The inflammation is predominantly of the endomysium in polymyositis, whereas dermatomyositis is characterized by primarily perimysial inflammation.
I am currently taking cellcept- 3000 mg or 6 a day, prednisone - 10mg and .6 ml of methotrexate. Is anyone else out there have the same combination of drugs. If so, can you talk about the pros and cons, how they have helped, dosages, etc, I would just like Thank You
