I was thinking about going to this, but I wish there was more information about what will be discussed etc. Are you planning on going?

I've never been to a convention and I would really love to go. Do you know what the dates are?

This one was listed on The Myositis Association website & it's being held in St Louis Missouri September 23-25th.
It looks like the convention moves all around to different locations. I'm definitely curious

Anyone out there been to previous conferences?

I'm debating on whether or not to go - just would like to know if it'll be worth the effort of getting there as I have been recently diagnosed and am still in pretty acute phase..?

I was pondering going to but it is too expensive to travel 1/2 way across the US without an agenda of what is going to be discussed. It would be nice to hear what they have to say since I can't seem to learn anything short of our discussions here.

I did see that but it doesn't tell me about what the "sessions" are about. The past agendas are interesting but I can't tell if they repeat or try to find new agenda's and sessions each year.

the lack of info is what's making me hesitate too. i'm wondering what all they're going to be talking about for 3 days. i'm also wondering how long the last day will be; i live 3 1/2 hours away & would rather just drive back home instead of having to pay for a hotel room for a third night.

i still think i'm leaning more towards going... i just wish it was a little cheaper. oh well...
