Polyamory Community Group
A place to discuss living a polyamorous lifestyle - the joys, the challenges and everything in between. Polyamory (a hybrid word -poly is Greek for many and amor is Latin for love - coined by among others Neopagan poet, author, lecturer, and priestess Morning Glory Zell-Ravenheart) means "The practice, state or ability of having more than one sexual loving relationship at...
Relatively new to the lifestyle, and struggling on where I fit. I’m a single, divorce woman with a grown child. I live alone. Currently dating a married couple who both pursued me. Mostly it was him in the beginning but now she and I are close as well. It’s very loving and supportive. And allows me to still have my lifestyle... but that’s where it becomes tricky.
Ive got emotional damage like the rest of us, a lot is more realistic. I’m struggling accepting them loving me and wanting me involved with them. I’m also struggling with the fact that I feel like an outsider meeting up with a team. I’ve tried to figure out how to move past it but my brain seems to circle back. I’ve voiced my fears and they are great at reassuring me that they love me and aren’t going anywhere and have patience with me working through all of this.
Is is there anyone out there that has any advice? I’m trying not to have expectations or attachments but that just seems unrealistic. Help?

It would have been working at a university supporting high school students who are taking college classes. I did a mock interview with a friend and prepared extensively. It was at the university that I graduated from. I was very excited...

That being said I see there tender loving moments and wonder why am I here?
I love them both. Truly. But somewhere I have this wall that makes me feel out of place. I’m guessing its just my mindset.
I’ve been communicating with them so much I feel like I sound insane LOL I’ve never talked about my feeling so much.
Thank you both for responding.
