What is it, that you find inspiring? What things ignite your desire to create?
Many things inspire me, the human condition, of course, yet I find inspiration in very visual or tactile things. I am obsessed by 'old things' and the stories they tell you about the past, about the people that had been before us, and I love the romance of that. That sort of wartime romance.
I find the things that inspire you inspiring. Also for me, nature, trees, the moon and stars, cosmos and the universe... I do my best pondering and get in the mindset to create most often at night looking out into this vast space. It connects me...to whatever. I try to express the meaning of interactions with others I have and experiences that require some form of expression to really reflect and grasp their full impact. A lot of what I write is inspired by some form of pain or the unusual, or problem or taboo that I see.
I have really become inspired by the stars, universe, etc as well LoveSinger. How I wish I would have taken a course in Astrology when I was in college. I guess it's never too late, no matter how young or old we are. Music has always inspired me, more then anything. I am also intrigued by certain shows on television dealing with conspiracy theories. I love things that make me think. I'm sure there is more but that is all I can come up with right now.
I thought about talking an Astrology class... Or, may just find the equivalent online. There is a NOVA documentary called Origins: Fourteen Billion Years Of Cosmic Evolution... It's pretty sweet.
