According to God's will let our lives be rebuilt
As the Savior unties the last knot of our heart
He shifts our lives to a new lot.
Let go of the way of life we knew,
Let the lingering for the past depart.

To our self Jesus says we are dying.
A time to put ourselves away
And work out salvation every day.
We need to be open to what is new,
And accept what God brings to you.

Let go of those things within
Which have entangled us in sin.
His love reveals his redemption plan.
Our cleansed lives will be built on rock, not sand.

The Bible says this is the key:
Believe in Jesus, into sin do not stray.
Everyday watch and pray.
The Holy Spirit will help you grow.
You will be free with eyes to see
Why the changes He makes in thee.

Sweet blessings of knowing the Lord
Will be rendered
When our lives we've surrendered.
We can see Christ inside,
He's opening our eyes to this other side.
