PMDD Support Community Group
A group specifically addressing Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder; severe emotional and physical problems associated with the menstrual cycle. A place where we can share our feelings during the tough times and different types of treatments. Moodswings welcome!
How does your boyfriend deal with the mood swings? I want to marry her, and know that once she goes through menopause, all will be good. Is that true?
And it makes me feel so bad. Because I can't imagine what that's like. I only can tell you how it feels for a woman in this position...
And I also want to clarify that when I say "it's real" I meant to say that the PMDD making a woman's thoughts so out of whack that she may also feel what she is thinking is true, when its NOT. the SYMPTOMS are real.
I don't want you to misinterpret what I was saying and then have you think that she really doesn't love you when she's in that mindset. Because that's not true. When the storm calms, we KNOW we weren't in our right minds and not thinking clearly. Then everything we were thinking and feeling goes away. Its horrible. Even more so when you are so inlove with someone who suffers with something so serious.
Because you feel like you are in the wrong, even when you are not.
I take xanax when its really bad. Does she have any sedatives for it? She should have something for it.
Hang in there, I know it seems impossible.
Im only 26 not really sure what happens with PMDD and menopause, so that could be true. But menopause is honestly a whole different beast and I hear thats no picnic either.
Ahhh women, eh?
Also have any of you women tried an herb called Vitex Agnus-Castus and if so has it helped you with PMDD?
I also read that Indole-3-Carbinol helps as well, please let me know if any of you have has any experience with this one as well.
