hi everyone, I have been struggling with PMDD for awhile and am new to this group. I feel alot better reading posts knowing I am not the only one who has these issues. For so long I thought it was just me. I was wondering the best supplements anyone has found helpful? My Dr recommended trying that because birth control is not for me and I don't want to turn to anti depressants (my mother had issues with them) if anyone has info I would appreciate it ❤
I am so sorry to hear about your struggle... I'm right there with you. For years I've had a terrible bout with PMDD. It has been victorious for most of my life.
However, I cannot express how much getting on a specific birth control helped. I tried a few in the past but there are only a few FDA approved BC's out there for PMDD. I know you said you're steering clear of BC but just know... it changed my life. I take Ventura (recently changed names to Nikki) and I praise God for it every single day. Seriously, it has saved my life.
I hope you find a more natural way... just know there are options!
