Hello- I recently have been diagnosed w pheo. I've had two 24 urine tests and lots of blood tests among a few other lab tests that my endocrinologist determined pheo. I have had an MRI done on my adrenals and pituitary but no tumors in either. My doctor has determined it's a pheo not on the adrenals. Does anyone have an extra adrenal pheo/ paraciglioma ? Just wanted to check where they found it and what type of imaging they had done to find it. I'm waiting for my doctor to decide the next imaging she wants to do.
Also...my symptoms have been rapid heart beat, especially when I lay down, hot flashes, anxiety / depression attacks, and terrible insomnia. My body just feels like it can't relax. Lately I'll get bursts of symptoms that lasts for a few days and then I'll have a few days I feel "normal" again. Does anyone else have this- is there anything I can do when I have the attacks? I just can't take the not sleeping! Does anyone else have problems w insomnia?

I had all the symptoms you describe and a lot more so I believe you. You are not crazy, believe! You can ask your doctor for a blocker so it diminishes your symptoms and attacks, even insomnia. You can take it while they locate the tumor but maybe you will need stop medication when they are about to do the tests so it does not interfere with the results.
It is a hell, I believe you. =)
