just wanted to say hi..love to find other people who love animals..i've been known to stop and move a frog off the road so it wont get hit..our pets are gifts from God i think
i have a big mix breed..his name was bruno when we got him..he was abused by the previous owner and he's such a loyal sweet dog..i love him..i used to have pet rats and i miss them...been thinking about getting a couple..they're so much fun and so smart
Welcome, Kathy! Animals really are amazing. I think it's inspiring that you have so much love the for the little ones, the ones that are so often overlooked, or even bought for food for larger animals, like snakes.
With the way that animals are treated on this planet, sometimes I wonder if this is a hell where animals eat each other and are treated badly, and we need to transform it into a better place for all creatures. It's always great to hear about other people who are trying to help as many animals as they can.

New Member. Had 2 precious littles babies for 15 years. No longer with me. Tried to adopt others, but felt betraying them...perhaps it was too soon. As i was unable to have children i feel God brought my little kneesaa and Luke into my life to compensate and gave me my children. The love i felt for them i truly know
was a mothers love for her children. They also loved me back as a child would love it"s mother. I love and miss them so much, Life is not the same now. Feel so empty and miss that loving feeling.
Hey, I once took a turtle to work with me because he was in the road, and I was too far along to go back to the farm to release him somewhere safer! Plus, I picked up another that had been run over by a car, with his shell cracked top and bottom. I kept him until he was healed, then took him back to one of the ponds and released him, too. Then there was Mr Toad, who lived on the back porch. He was almost tame, we had picked him up so much!
I just found this group too. I have a sweet 6 year old cat, and at times can be annoying, but I love her. I am so glad to have her in my life. Thank you for starting this group.

I don't believe it will be a betrayal sweetie, the new ones could never take place of the ones you have loved and lost. They will always be in your heart as well. Plz though, think about giving a home to some more babies. I'm sure they will help brighten your days. Hugs sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss.
