Hello!

New here and hoping to get some advice on this! We have fleas. I cringe at even typing the word! 

I started walking my dog more this summer and I am thinking they jumped on her from that. Never had it happen before as she would always run in the fenced in yard. 

Fast forward to finding them, my cat also had them. Gave them each a bath with stuff from the store for fleas. Then didn't read the instructions on Frontline Plus and put it on both of them 12 hours later. Did not wait the 48 hours. In the meantime, I used baking soda and salt twice on my carpets, washed everything, cleaned like a crazy woman and vacuumed and still do 2 -3 times a day. I talked to a vet and they gave me knock out and I used that twice all over the house and baseboards. I also reput Frontline on them 2 weeks later because I don't think it worked.

This was all on 10/2. It is now 10/23. My dog doesn't have them much- maybe here and there (I think) but my cat always has one on him. 

I read the cycle of fleas but I truly thought frontline would stop them from staying on him.

Any advice on what else I could do/use or recommend a different thing other than Frontline for a cat and dog?
