What did you or will you decide to do with your pet remains? I had to put my cat to sleep on Monday and feel broken. His favorite spot is to sun himself on my screened in porch. I decided to order a seed and potting urn system where you place a portion of the pets ashes into the urn and it grows into a beautiful tree. I am going to plant it in is favorite sunny spot on the porch. I know that is where he would be right now if he were still here. The rest of the remains I am going to have a blown glass pendant made with the ashes. I just picked out and ordered his tree seedling yesterday. I can't wait to plant his memorial. Picking out the tree and pendant actually made me feel a little better. Its a special way to honor his memory. I don't want him collecting dust on a shelf.

Does anyone else have any ideas? I have to start planning for my dog soon as she was just diagnosed with cancer....its been a rough couple of months for me with two sick pets...
