Transportation and lodging options are rolled out in minutes, and can be booked with a credit card and a few mouse clicks.
What's not to love? Well, there are just too many choices, for one thing!
But there is also the homogenization of experience, pushing us to desire ever-more-exotic and expensive destinations. One Caribbean island looks much like another, so let's go to Antarctica this year!
