If you left the UK and went to live somewhere else what would you miss most?
I would miss all our flavours of crisps as most places I have been to dont have anywhere near the range we do. Also chocolate if I went to the US, has anyone had American chocolate? It is horrible especially Hershey.
I would miss going to football matches, lots of TV programs, doing pub quizzes, the NHS, to name a few things.
What about you?

I've lived in several different countries and always missed our pubs, the Brit sense of humour and the weather!!!

One of the things I missed when living abroad (in the Middle East) was the shops we have in the UK, especially the supermarkets. We don't know how truly blessed we are with the wonderful choice and great presentation of fresh produce in the UK. When I came home on holiday I loved going on supermarket trips with my relatives, it was a joy to behold after the dodgy, sandy shacks I was shopping in where I had gone to live.

I would miss all the good things we have in the UK, there are alot of things we have here BUT, isn't UK too stressful ? Maybe its the holiday syndrome but aren't other countries more laid back. I've been to Canaries and Greece, both seemed like paradise to me :o) there are pros and cons no matter where you go me thinks. If any of you Brits, preferably female are going abroad soon and need to take a bit of UK with you, im FREE :o)

Only ever been to one other place outside the UK and that is New York but I would miss our football, our weather, our chocolate, our diversity, University Challenge and Corrie plus Emmerdale and Holby City, my son and his girlfriend, my granddaughter (which is ultimately why I wouldn't go!)

I would miss English sausages. I am thinking of buying a flat in Munich; they don't have English sausages in southern Germany!

Some other things I would miss is British teabags, British dry cure bacon and all our wonderful cheeses.
