Hi, I'm a newbie to this group, so my apologies if someone has already posted this topic . . .
The freecycle groups are by area through yahoo and are a great way to get rid of stuff that you can't really throw away. They are a great place to locate things that you really don't want to spend money on. In the last year, I've gotten rid of a lot of stuff this way, but also was able to pick up quite a bit, too:
~bunk bed frame
~dresser
~moving boxes
~clothing
~recipe books
~dog food
~hanging planters
~brand new porch swing cushions
etc, etc . . .
Every little bit helps, right?

My wife & I have given away many things through freecycle & received things also.
& seen many valuable things donated their too...
brand new microwaves, washers,dryers,stoves,fridges, lawn mowers ect. the list goes like Madi15 posted .
freecycle is all throught the USA & canada, not sure about other countries.
