Hi! to both of you. I'm a newbie on Penny Pinchers too. I used to be very poor. Me and my husband used to think it was wonderful to have a can of beef stew that I would really stretch by adding alot of cooked rice to it. I remember having nothing but a cup of beef bouillion for super many many times. And I used to make sandwiches out of canned pork and beans. Most of my money is going bye-bye at the grocery store these days. I'm thinking about getting internet cut off but I would really miss DS alot. It's been awhile since I used to be really poor and haven't been a frugal mindset for about 15yrs. But lately I've seen my savings dwindle away and trying to get back to living cheaply again. Less is more, right?

Hi, I am new here also.
Guess this is the place to post for newbies Lol
I always am open to new ideas because today everything is too costly to waste anything. If I pay for it I want to use it and if it isn't good now I take it back to the store like everyone else does! No embarrasment there for sure. I do coupons and sales almost like homework now! But it pays to look for sales even on line for the grocery stores.

Annie100, I turned off my cable so I could keep my internet. There is so much more help I get from having internet I couldn't do without it if possible.
