Hello there, I have just joined this forum as I had a laparoscopy last Thursday and was told I have varicose veins in my pelvis. I have been suffering for 6 yrs with pelvic pain etc after having my second child. When I was told what I had I was relieved to be able to put a name on the cause of my problems. It was short lived as my GP.had no info or advice for me which I found extremely upsetting. My gyne/obst said the same and he basically said there was no cure only option was hysterectomy. Im finished having my kids but think this is to extreme and have discovered it doesnt always solve the problem.

some hope for a solution. Did u have the Embolisation after and did u get relief from your symptoms??

well there is so called embolisation of pelvic veins - ovarian+parauterine... but there is about 60% chance it will work.
