This is a new group also, trying to get more people, I know lots of people going through this issue and just want to help them. But I know for a fact that you are not alone. I am not exactly going through it myself buy my ex wife went through it when I was dealing with my personal porn addiction and as an ex "viewer" I might be able to help the understanding on how porn can effect your partner's brain and trust me, it's not your fault! Most likely he/she has been addicted to it for many many years and it is hard for them too, but it hurts everyone.

I am new here and just want to share my experiences that have come up recently. I dont know what to think or how to feel....

Thought I had the perfect marriage. Until I accidentally found my husband of 27 years looking up explicit porn online. I am humiliated and broken. These pics made me sick to my stomach that he was viewing theses even when our two great kids were in the house. He says it was a form of entertainment. Like looking up the weather. Really? I feel my marriage is over. I am lost and feel so alone.

Unfortunately we all feel lost and alone. I don't understand how men can say they love you all while being sneaky, lying, perverted, irresponsible dicks.

My husband also did that with children in the house. I really hope my oldest never accidentally saw anything.

Well we are all here to share each other stories and be here for each other, porn has a very addicted control over the brain of many men and women out there, and like any other addiction it is a very hard one to defeat, I suggest calmly talking to your significant other about it and look up options like therapy and other ways to try to get a hold of the real problem. And I will be clear again on the calmly part, if it just turns in to fights then yeah it's only going to lead to hurt for everyone, you got to treat this as an addiction and try to do research on what they are going through cause happens to be that allot of people that are addicted to porn want to stop but can't and they lie and hide it cause deep down they know it's bad and don't want to hurt the ones they love, but also talk about it, let them know how you feel about it cause in allot of cases the addict don't realize how much it hurts you and it can help motivate them to get help overcome there problem.

But remember the chances are they have had this addiction long before they met you so don't blame yourself or think that you are not good enough it's rarely the case, if you "weren't good enough" they wouldn't be with you and they do love you wether or not it seems like it but help them, no one wants to choose porn over real love so if they love you they will try, maybe not at first but they will, again do some research together on the harms and effect that porn has on there brains.

There is hope love is stronger than anything and I'm sure you guys can overcome this but it will take both of you together to defeat this.

I have a fiancé with a porn addiction as well and have found it to really effect my well being. We have a baby on the way and a wedding coming up. This has been a problem persisting in our relationship for over a year and has only gotten worse. I now have severe anxiety and trauma from it and often have aweful nightmares. I am seeking support as I am scared leading into my future and I am faced with making tough decisions when only wanting best for my son, my family, and my relationship.
