He's starting to cruise, so definetly a push/ride toy. Beyond that, I don't know. I've tried not to think to hard on the upcoming holiday. (big family)

I'm getting my now 7 month old baby einstein and sesame street dvds. My husband wants to get her a walker because she is pulling herself up to stand, but I don't much care for walkers. To be honest my 11 year old is getting more gifts. She has really adjusted so well to being a big sis for the time, she helps with the baby and she is doing well in school.

The baby likes to play with toys so I'll probably add a Elmo toy for her. Hmm, now that I'm typing I'm feelin like maybe I'm being unfair. I will probably end up getting the same amount of gifts for my 7 month old and my 11 year old.

push and ride thingie and some baby einstein. Her dad beat me to all the good stuff lol. we aren't together so god bless his heart. Got her almost 300 bucks of stuff i was like wtf you're trying to show me up? lol

we are going to build-a-bear and designing stuffed animals for both the boys. i know they won't care or remember, but my DH and i will and we will have the pictures as well.

My DS will be a year by Christmas (just three days before!) and he is a climber!! So one of his big gifts is going to be a climbing toy I believe it is called Natrually playful kangaroo climber by Step2. We are also getting him a ball pit which he may be a bit young for but we'll see I am guessing he'll LOVE it! The list goes from there and I am sure we went waaaaaaay overboard but its our first Christmas with a child! :D

You know, we're going to put all sorts of effort and planning into the toys, and all our babies will go right for the wrapping and bows!!
Grandma & Grandpa got her a wagon, which I'm really excited for. Also some footie sleepers that are really warm, and anything that plays music totally captivates her. I can honestly say that we (mommy and daddy) haven't gotten her much of anything because we know that all the grandparents, aunts & uncles have gone a bit over board... we may get her an ornament or something to start a collection for her with some sort of meaning behind it.

My daughter loves Elmo so she is getting an Elmo dvd and stuffed animal. I just picked up a little piano and a tummy time mirror. She loves looking at herself and just laughs. It is so cute. My family will spoil her so I don't want to go too crazy. Well at least my husband doesn't. If it was up to me, I would buy her the whole toy store.

I love the buid a bear idea cutiebugg so i think I will be going to the Mall this weekend and getting something that she can have for her first Christmas and since I am there I will get her something for her 1st Birthday since it is Jan 19. I can not even believe she will be 1 Where does the time go.

We got tons of things at baby showers that the babies were not old enough to play with yet - but now, five months later, they are almost ready for many of them - so we will pull them out of storage and will wrap them all up for Christmas! We will start an ornament collection for each of them - but outside of that, we are getting off cheap this year!

Its tough this year as it has always been just our son (age 7 1/2) and now we have our daughter who is 8 months old. We were torn between do you have same amount of gifts or spend the same amount of money. We decided to spend same amount of money. So our princess will see on Christmas morning a Nantucket Hope Chest, an Austrialian light pink crystal & pearl bracelet with her name PEYTON, a heart locket necklace, a princess ride on push toy, the 25th Anniversary My Little Pink Plush Pony, clothes, 2 carebears and our son went to build a bear and built her the light tan bunny with floopy ears and had it under plushed for softness. He said he wanted his sister and the bunny to match, so we went to Carters and got matching footed pink & brown jammies.

I suggested my family get Keira books. I don't think you can ever have enough books to read. maybe that is just the teacher in me!

I was trying ti figure this out. Does anyone have younger babies? Ours will only be a month and a half old. We got a lot of things at the baby shower and don't think that he will really appreciate a lot of presents. I think that we should get him something, but I'm not sure what.

My little guy is almost five months and doesn't need too much yet. So, I decided to get him a few things he'll need over the next year. We're also going in on a wagon for him with his grandparents.

My baby is only 2 months, so I'm not going to get much since he can't do much. I think about a mirror for tummy time, he likes to look at things and himself. maybe soft blocks for when he can grab things, I suggested hard board books to the grandparents like the margaret wise brown books ( goodnight moon author) and sandra boyton books. We also opened a 529 college plan so some of the grandparents are just giving money to this for this year and next year when he is one get more toys and things.
