So, my 6 month old has been eating baby food for two months now... she has been loving every minute of it..... UNTIL a few days ago when she decided to seal her lips and protest eating it. I know she is fine because she is still taking her bottles of formula, but is this a normal "phase?" Has this happened to anyone else? Just curious....

Teething slowed my son down but he also wants to feed himself. If he has some things he can feed himself with I can usually get him to eat more. His tastes have also changed and stuff he used to love he hates. Just keep trying.

I agree with klimawife......when Ava is teething, she usually only wanted formula. However, while it is extremely messy, I let Ava feed herself whatever we are having for dinner just cut up really small, and she LOVES IT! I think she feels like she is such a big girl. Maybe try that?

I agree with the two ladies...
Although my little guy hasn't refused baby food altogether when he is teething is definately eats less.
