5. pampers diapers (they are the softest)
6. my baby bag which is a north face backpack
Still looking for the right pacifier, I've tried the green jelly ones, nuk newborn, playtex 0-24 mo laytex and silicone.
Mom to Mom frog that my son LOVES
there are so many things! Those are my favorites right now
We just bought the Chicco hook-on portable high chair. I LOVE this thing!! Its great for when we are out at a restaurant bc we can still sit in a big booth and our son doesnt have to sit on the end in the aisle under the waiters and all the hot food. Plus he doesnt have to sit in a yucky high chair. I do have a cover but if Im going to bring something out I might as well bring my own chair and it folds flat. We keep it in the car!
Blow up ducky tub. It fits right in your tub but you dont have to fill your entire tub to give the baby a bath. Its soft and comfy for the baby to sit in and its plenty of room for them to bathe in. Babies R Us, Wal-Mart...etc
STAYDRY Bath Apron....this was a FAVORITE of mine!!! It goes on you and while you are bathing the baby it keeps you dry and then when the baby is done you jsut wrap the baby up in the apron part. Best gift EVER!!!!!!!! Amazon.com, Target, Buy Buy Baby
rattle by bright stars, wal-mart or target. 2.00 so cheap and kids loved it.
Muchkin teether mesh net. muchkin target.
2. The Velcro swaddle blanket (I don't use them now, but my DD could always break out of our swaddles and this really helped)
3. Baby Einstein Movies: Baby Neptune to be precise. I don't let her watch much TV but this gives me and hubby time to eat dinner.
4. Cradle Swing
Those are the ones I can think of right now, I am going to have to try the bath apron, After DD bath last night I was soaked!!
I couldn't live without my video monitor-we have the summer day/night monitor and love it! It's the only way i could survive sleeping in a separate room from my little girl
I also love my cradle in comfort swing....I get a few minutes to myself with it!
Tommee Tippee bottles are AMAZING and I don't ever have leaking problems with them!
I can't think of any more right now, but as I think of more. I will post them. Great idea for this thread! It's fun!
Boppy - other uses besides BF- we find it great for tummy time
Sleep Sheep on-the-go - Sophia LOVES the whale sound; we take it everywhere with us! Got ours at Buy Buy Baby, but I've seen it also at Babies R Us
Avent pacifiers - the only kind she'll take
Carter's onesies - these fit her the best; we have a bunch of Gerber ones and they just don't fit her well - sizes seem a little "off"
2. sleep sacks. My daughter is 13 months old and still sleeps in one. She has since she stopped being swaddled at 10 weeks. She is a very active sleeper and if she just had a blanket on her she'd never be covered! Plus it is like a signal to her that it's nap/bedtime when I put her in it. I'm psyched that they make them in toddler sizes and with footholes for walkers. I don't think we will be stopping those any time soon.
3. Gerber waterproof lap pads. I actually put those on the changing table, over the cover. That way if she pees on the table or we have a messy diaper change, I can just throw the waterproof pad in the laundry and don't have to constantly change the whole cover. And I emphasize: the GERBER ones. The Babies R Us brand ones are junk.
4. Jumparoo... we had the Fisher Price Rainforest one, but really I think any good one is great. Saved our butts so many times, I was heartbroken when she outgrew it.
5. Music Table. We have the Leapfrog one. My daughter ADORES it.
6. Carter's clothing. They really seem to be truest to size (or at least, the weight/height ranges they advertise), they don't shrink easily, and they are relatively inexpensive. And you can find them in so many places. We have a Carter's outlet nearby, but of course they are also at JC Penney's, Kohls, Sears, Target... I also love Gymboree as their clothes are also true to size and wear well, but their prices are a bit more prohibitive.
