Just because he did a urine test does not meean that there is not an infection elsewhere in the tract....I think that a kidney infection, for example, will not necessarily come out in a urine sample.
You may need blood tests....I may be wrong, but that is just my instinct. Your ob-gyn sounds a bit strange. I do not think it is normal, not at your age, not after 1 child, and you might consider getting an opinion fom another ob-gyn, just in case...esp. if you plan on more babies down the road..
Better safe than sorry. And I am glad you bumped this up. Please let me know the outcome of any other visits or tests; I would really be interested in knowing, for my own info.
In really bad cases, I think there is surgery to help. SO, please see some more specialists.
