My little boy is 3 weeks old and he is suppose to be on a scedule of 2 1/2 to 3 oz every 3 hours. well sometimes my little guy wants to eat in 2 hours. he has also been super fussy. sometimes he will fall asleep and when i go lay him down he cries like 5 min. later. i just dont know hat to do. he is on Similac Sensitive.
Any advice would be wonderful.

My 12 week old Daughter spent a lot of time on Similac Sensitive. We switched her to Similac Isomil Soy and she has gotten sooo much better! We can actually set her down and leave the room without her throwing a fuss! My advice would be to try that. It might be bad the first day or so because of the change but they say it will take 2 days to 2 weeks to see the full benefits of the cnew formula. I hope everything goes well!

My daughter is now a year old but I will say that I didn't follow a schedule but followed the advice of my pediatrician- feed on demand. For two months I fed her whenever intuitively I thought she was hungry. For whatever it's worth I would follow your instincts more than a schedule. Of course, I bf so I don't know the obstacles you could be concerned about with the type of formula etc..
I do have a friend that followed a very strict feeding schedule from the time her newborns came home from the hospital- every three hours and she would not alter it for anything.
My personal opinion would be to find something between the two and to follow your instincts, of course. :)
