for those who struggled with IF

For those who struggled with IF issues... Are you doing anything special at the 1st birthday party to acknowledge your miracle baby?

My DH and I want to have a real celebration of God's gift to us and being able to celebrate one year with her. I'm just curious how others tied it in.

At our venue, we have the ability to have photos projected onto the walls. I was thinking of doing photos with bible verses or something...

Other Ideas?

I think that is a great idea. We are not having a big party for our daughter, just close family at our house, and they are not religious. But for me the big party will be when we go to church tomorrow and the congregation sings 'Happy Birthday". It feels like God wil sing along.
Maybe something else you could do is project her picture and something like "proof that prayer works!". Best of luck and God Bless

I hadn't thought about that perspective. I guess special doesn't have to mean big. I am a military spouse and everyone at my station that I knew moved away so even if I wanted to it wouldn't be big. Such a good question! How to make it special. I think its important to teach others that there is hope for them. On mothers day we tried to make cookies for mothers that were in shelters but the baby was one month old and it did not work out. So maybe I will try something similar for his birthday.
