i have the fisher price rain forest swing that is low to the ground and the music drives me insane!!! and honestly it doesnt swing all that well. the highest is speed 5 and it is just like 1 speed. i am thinking it may be defective. i spent 60.00 on it and i want my money back

We have the F.P. Rainforest bouncy seat. We use it mostly for feeding now. Our 7 month old LOVED it for the 1st 4 months or so-esp. the monkey and frog (I think) that move--she's stare at them for hours! I usually put it on the music setting only (althought the "forest" sounds still play along w/music). It sounds like the similar-looking swing isn't so great...

OMG I went nuts to have this when it first came out. She liked it well enough, but she started walking so darn early she would not get in it after! I just gave it away, honestly I do not remember it making me crazy>LOL....

ok so the swing we bought went crazy. it only worked when it felt like it. come to find out today when we returned it, that model had been recalled and another was put out.

D/s really LOVES his exersaucer....even still & he's over a year. It swivels and it has some spring action for jumping. It is very noisy, but not musical noise unless buttons are pushed, but the parts jump & jiggle when he really gets jumping & it can really get noisy....maybe this wouldn't be as irritating as the music & animal noises. Not all exersaucers are created equal, though. I had one w/older d/s and did not like it, or use it, nearly as much or as long. We have the Evenflo Smartsteps Deluxe Exersaucer...We got it at Babies'R'Us for about $80.

As a sidenote, I saw the funniest little contraption at Babies'R'Us last week. It looks like a walker, except it doesn't go anywhere like the old school walkers. It has a center section w/toys and buttons & then this sort of "side car" seat, which is similar to the bouncy on top. It has wheels and is attached to the center stationary section & baby can basically "walk" around the home base/center section. The seat also swivels for maximum dizziness. I think it's also $80ish & looked like it'd be a good walking trainer....looked like it'd be fun :)

I have the hole set i love it I even have the crib set and the moblie!! the swing only has that one setting and its gay but i does say it has five or six but they are exactly the same.

Yeah...we also have the bouncy chair, and the crib thing...but the jumperoo by far has the most annoying sound effects of anything I have ever heard. Aversion therapy. Neither my little one nor I will ever venture to the rainforest.
I see Fisher Price's subliminal message now. They must be some corporate conglomerate that has a hand in the destruction of the rainforests of the world. With this jumperoo, their intention is to convince allparents that the rainforest is annoying, thus must be destroyed. How insidiously clever, Fisher Price.
