Hi! I just wanted you to know that I understand what you're going through! My son is now 6 weeks old, but at around 3 weeks old he started crying what seemed like all the time and at times no matter what I would do-feeding, rocking, bouncing, swaddling, music, etc. he could not be consoled. That went on for awhile and at 5 weeks I took him to the Dr. He has colic. It normally starts around 3 weeks and goes away on its own at at around 12 weeks. It's so challenging and frustrating because they cry so much and there's nothing you can do to stop it sometimes. I kept thinking perhaps he wasn't getting enough to eat, because he wanted to eat all the time. Then sometimes he'd get the nipple in his mouth and just pop off over and over again, and sometimes cry during. It is so awful.

I would suggest taking him to the Dr. and speaking with them about it to see if something is wrong, or if it is perhaps colic. I'd be happy to message back and forth with you because I know it's difficult to deal with and parents going through it need support for sure. I think it is harder for us than it is for the babies!

It's possible she has gas. My son would get pretty fussy and my sister in law recommended trying some kind of gas relief...she gave me what she used for her son. I just have the generic version of it, but the active ingredient is simithicone.I've gotten it from Target and Shop Rite. It's made a difference for him. He's being bottle fed, so I'll give it to him before he eats, then burp him at least once in the middle of his bottle, then for a while afterwards. I use a few different positions too, to make sure I get out as much gas as possible. It is possible it's colic too, like K9mommy said. If you've tried everything and they're still crying, there's nothing you can really do...babies sometimes just cry! They could be bored or just trying to burn off energy, because it's not like they can run around to burn it up.
