My 7 month old daughter has been trying to cut her first teeth for the last 2 months it seems, but it is not until a week ago that she has started to pull at her ear a lot. she has been doing this everyday. She has no fever but has been a little more fussy at times and she seems to always go to her ears. I have been giving her Motrin per the Dr if she is having pain and also giving her the teething pills which calms her down. She was at the Dr a week and half ago for her check up which all was fine. So my question is has anyone else had this happen and was it the teeth or ear problems? I probably will call the Doc tomorrow if this continues.

some times they poll there ear, if your worried take her to the dr to have checked out

I understand that sometimes they pull on the ear, but I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen because of the baby teething. I will diff get it checked out if she cont to do this. I am just hoping someone could let me know if their baby did this and for how long

My son is the same age, and he has been cutting teeth and tugging on his ears frequently as well. I don't know if the 2 things have anything to do with each other or not. He has never acted sick enough that I had his ears checked, so I guess it's his teeth, or I also thought maybe he just discovered his ears!

sometime tooth pain can radiate to the ears and rest of the jaw just like in adults so it's possible that's where he's feeling the teething pain....

Ear infections usually cause the baby to cry when laid flat and sometimes have runny noses with them too.
