ok well i am 15 days away from my due date, and i just went to the bathroom and there was this thick mucosy thing in my underwhere, and more when i wiped...does this mean that i lost my mucos plug or is it just discharge?

Could be your mucous plug (or at least part of it). I lost most of mine a few weeks befor I went into labor.

could be. have you had your cervix checked to see if you are dilating yet? If you are then it probably is.

I remember that happened to me, and then a week later, I wiped, and there was this HUGE finger-sized glob of mucus (sorry, TMI), and I knew for sure, that that was my mucus plug. And.....then they had to induce me anyway, b/c baby didn't want to come! LOL

I am dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced and she is at a 0 station...I guess then its for sure that labor is only a short time away! I am soooooooo tired of being pregnant! lol

Ha ha, I was 3 cm dailated and 90% effaced for 2 weeks! They finally induced me---so, try and enjoy being pregnant. Think of it this way---they won't let you go past 42 weeks!

Ooh, you're getting close!!
I started to lose mine 2 days before i delivered, at first it was brown, then the next day and up until delivery it was bright red. And gross lol.
The morning i woke up and it was bright red i was really scared and i went to the emergency room right away, but it was just my mucous plug.
