Feeding your infant and ensuring they are getting enough nutrition is one of the most important aspects of parenting during that first year. This community is dedicated to those who are nurturing a baby, whether breastfed or formula-fed.
Does anyone else out there have a baby that is akin to Godzilla?
My 9 month-old is not interested in stacking and in fact becomes quite agitated when things are placed in a stacked manner.
She will crawl over (sometimes across the bloody room) to where the offensive and neatly stacked item is and whack it down with the swoop of her hand.
She does not appreciate the little rainbow-colored plastic doughnuts that sized-ly fit on that stem thingie (I have no idea what the actual technical term for it is...) She chooses to wreck that thing as well when it is placed in it's rightful position. She celebrates triumphantly by taking two of the doughnuts and smacking them together while giggle-shrieking.
She despises when her little animal farm is right side up, and insists on smacking it down. I dare not place it right side up, as she will scream and smack it down, disdainfully once again.
She will also take her teething ring and beat her blocks up. I feel sorry for them.
Something tells me she's not going to be a dainty flower princess.

A small room with a gate up, a playpen, or one of those little play yards you can get at Babies r' us does wonders for controlling the mess and keeping the little one from destroying creations of their older siblings, if that is an issue.
But it is pretty funny to watch.
