Well my daughter Aubrey has been showing signs of teething I swear for 4 months now, but for the past 4 nights she has been waking up around 3 or 4 in the morning which is not normal at all. She also is very restless when she sleeps. During the day she will chew a lot on her teething toys but does not seem to be in a lot of pain. When she wakes in the morning she does cry at first but will calm down as soon as I pick her up. I have heard of a baby's sleeping pattern changing when they teeth so I am just wondering could she finally be teething. I have had to give her Motrin a couple of times this past week because she was pulling at her ear and was a little cranky during the day but that was about it. Anyone else have this happen before the teeth pop out?
Babies can show signs of teething for months before teeth actually come to the surface. Also, do you think she could have an ear-infection? (Because of pulling on the ear) Is she drooling a lot? Sometimes teething babies have a lot of drool and sometimes, a touch of diarrhea! I feel so sorry for teething babies! think how weird it must be to them to have teeth growing out of their head for the first time! They must be thinking "what the heck? what are these sharp things ripping out of my smooth pretty gums?!"
