Actually I have better then a wives tale I have a scientifically proven way (doesn't always work though), it's how I conceived my little girl and how we'll try for a boy in a few months... Its called the Shettles Method that uses the differences in X and Y sperm to up your odds, Just google it and you should get everything you need. Good luck :)

My husband and I purposely tried for a boy and got one. Male sperm is actually weaker than female sperm, because as a species, females are in higher demand for procreation. I think the Shettles Method FracturedFairytales1 is referring to is where you use positions that increase the odds of getting the specific kind of sperm you want. The positions that gain deeper penetration are the ones that are better for attaining a boy.

This is really crazy-but it worked for m! I wanted that boy sperm to reach the egg so badly that after sex-I did headstands! I am not kidding you! I was only embarrassed once when my husband walked in on me, I thought he was outside! oops....But I do have a beautiful 4 month old boy!

My father in law suggested this too...we had boys first and were really glad...but remember that there has been studies to suggest that in the first two weeks of gestation a baby can turn from a boy to a girl...if stress levels are high...so stay in good spirits...and think happy boy thoughts...also your husband needs to be taking FOLIC ACID supplements...it is proven that it greatly reduces the chances of having a child with downs syndrome and other disabilities...you have take a pill why shouldnt he...

ha ha, wish I could help, but I have no idea how we concieved a boy! I don't even remember having sex that month! LOL

We have 4 boys, I don't remember doing anything out of the ordinary lol.
