As a mother of 8 children ranging from 26 to 8 mos..My advice is to reduce acid reflux have you given cereal in bottles..Tried switching to a nutramagen type formula or even a lactose free formula..That is where Id start..If you have done these things and have seen no improvement Id then try the gastro enteroligist they may have to do a fundal plication to close the top of the stomach to help stop acid reflux. But often they grow out of it..My son was allergic to milk products and had to be on nutramigen type formula the dr said the same thing acid reflux but it wasnt that at all he was lactose intollerant, I didnt find this out til he got psorisis ...Thank God I didnt get a fundal plication..He vomited everything for the first 18 mos of life..to this day hes 22 now but just a petite person..Now my daughter on the other hand has Cp and I almost got a fundal plication as well but decided to wait she too has out grown it. Yes they too were in the normal 50 percentile and dropped to the 5th percentile. My 22 has a very well life now..and my daughter has cp due to dr birth trauma..Now on the other hand I have seen many ppl also go through this only to find that there child had genetic syndromes.. I would first try to change the things and work with it for a little bit, but recomend genetic testing to see if there may be something far worse..If it came back pretty normal Id try and wait it out for a year or maybe 2..They will find there own percentile to be in.

Try taking your baby to a chiropractor. It is very common and the reflux can be cured instantly! I've taking 3 of my 4 kids when they were babies for acid reflux. My older son was cured after his first visit, my daughter it took 3 visits and my youngest it took twice. I know it sounds weird but do some research and you may be surprised. Call a chiropractor and ask, you'll find that it is very common. Plus it is far better than pumping your child full of medicine that never even worked for any of my kids. It did stop the projectile vomiting and fussiness.
