8 Months Old, where did the time go?
Michelle5
Well Aubrey will be 8 months old tomorrow and last night it hit me hard as I watched her fall asleep. Where did my little tiny baby girl go. She is getting sooo BIG. Everyday seems to bring new things which is great but I miss that little baby that needed me to hold her bottle while she drank it and was always in my arms. Now she spends her time on the floor playing with her toys and crawling. She is also pulling herself up and she wants to walk so bad she gets angry at herself because she is unable to. I know there are a lot of mothers out there like me who miss the baby baby moments. I see now why people have more then one child. Though I have to admit she is much more fun to play with and interact with at this stage. I also love how she picks up on new things each day. I just wish sometimes I could rewind time and go back to her first month and hold that little tiny 7pd new born in my arms. Sorry just wanted to vent a little. My hubby thinks I am crazy when I talk to him about this stuff.

You are not crazy..I know what you mean, and my little one is only 4 months.. I think it's hitting me because I know this one is my last..Time really goes by so fast..Having older ones, I can tell you that it is really something to watch them grow and develop there personalities.. I look at my oldest and just go, wow, he seems more and more grown up each day.. And the awe of being a parent doesn't go away..At least it hasn't for me..

I totally agree and I don't think it's crazy at all! My daughter is now almost 11 weeks old, and already I see so many new, exciting things that I love, as well as sadness over not having that tiny, wrinkly little baby fresh from the womb! I can't imagine how exciting it will be once she can sit up, crawl, roll, etc. But I also miss her being so tiny. If finances and such weren't an issue, I would be one of those mom's having baby after baby without a care in the world because I love them so much! I guess the best we can do for ourselves is to take a LOT of pictures, kiss and hug them as much as they'll let us, and keep their baby books up to date to remember it all when they are moving out!! :)

awww my baby girl will be 6mos tomorrow and I fel the same way! She is our 3rd adn last and I love playing and interacting with her but I do miss when she was so tiny! She started moving so young at times I feel like she is older! She already stands and has crawled for over a month! I am like OMG slow down! With my first I was in a rush for every milestone but with Deja I am not yet she just wants to move! As of now we only BF but soon I will start solids and part of me doesn't want too! I know what you mean. Logan will soon be six months and he is crawling and pulling himself up. I look and his and am so proud, yet I just want tell him to lay back down and let momma snugle with you. He is too busy he doesn't have as much time for his mommy.
