Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1) Support Group
Feeding your infant and ensuring they are getting enough nutrition is one of the most important aspects of parenting during that first year. This community is dedicated to those who are nurturing a baby, whether breastfed or formula-fed.
My son is 12 weeks today, and it's hard to believe because time has gone so fast!
i do not know how your birth went....but if yo are feeling sad about your c-s, you are not aone. yo may want to search some discussions on birth trauma and c-sections by searching the search bar below.
Franny7: Yes I am breastfeeding but I am not able to do it exclusively yet because he wont latch and I cant make enough milk for him just yet. I am not sad or anything like that about my c-section because I prepared myself when my doc told me that there was a good chance he would have to do one because the baby was to big for my pelvis.
Leayre7733: Yeah I finally had him and he was acctually born on his due date (which is very unusual). I have had my doubts about if I am going to be a good mom or not but I learn a little more each day so that is a good thing. We named him Gavin and my fiance and I are both very excited. He is such a good daddy even though he has only seen him twice (he works full time and goes to school full time and I am staying with my mom 3 hours away from him) but he sees us as much as he can. I will deffinatly send you a message if I need any advice or anything. Hope you and your family are doing great.
