to me,it used to be about love,peace,and understanding..as well,as the birth of Jesus..But the last few years,just not the same,especially since my mother passed away,now it seems it's all about the money,and crap like that..the good ole days,are gone,just sayin.

its a religious holiday

how is it shared? i used to send christmas cards, big on that, but not this year. no reason, except e mail.

we used to go to church on christmas eve and ski on christmas day. did that for many years.

try to keep presents to a minimum as it has nothing to do with the holiday.

have less, do more, be more.


takes me a few days to have christmas. i do the 12 days. i love the sales. i enjoy the after the 25th more than the build up. i always start late, which in the old days, would be early. put lights up outside and inside the house. have dinner at different houses. bring things even though i'm against the presents part. hate having to return gifts yearly. it drives me crazy.
