Every now and then I do go through the archives and revive old threads actually; I'm probably the only one left here who does that!

The thing I miss the most from OTF is the old regulars - we had a lot of frequent chatters that kept the boards lively, not only regularly commenting in ongoing topics but adding new ones themselves where we had a new topic or sometimes several every day. We just don't have the regular eyes here anymore, let alone the chatter. I'm afraid many of the old regulars are gone, they've either left the group because things got slow here and they found more active boards elsewhere or they've left the site altogether, which is a shame.

I can't promise anything, but whenever I do wind up weeding through the back pages I'll see if I can find that one you're talking about NDY but I can't make any promises there.

I SO appreciate your efforts, TESS. It is very difficult for me to do " the archive thing" with my android phone! Don't have a Provider right bow so I am not capable of tethering. ( I am saving to move. Am on a waiting list for a more favorable location.)

PS: Unfortunately, some of our more unique, colorful regulars have been banned by ds!! A few were the product of wrongful revenge by a deceitful former member who quit for dubious reasons (Purely my opinion of which I feel a right! Naming that person would be a true ds death-wish! Why they put so much stock in the obvious lies I have no idea! Go-figure?)

I recall some of the issues that went on... it's a shame what did occur because we lost some awesome members in the melee. This place (and DS in general) had more activity prior to all that mess and it just hasn't been the same since. I still think we can restore it to some of its former glory but unfortunately we're never going to quite get it to be the same place it once was unless we get lucky enough to get some very active members again.

I haven't had the chance to scour the way back pages just yet but I did unearth our old anti-Valentine's playlist just in time to help those who just want that holiday to be over with quickly still find a way to enjoy it - it's chock full of "over the last relationship/happy to be single and may be ready to mingle" sort of stuff for anyone who finds love songs revolting at this time of the year. It's not quite the same thing you're looking for but it's going to have to do for now!

I SO miss the gifted presence of poetry we had contributed on site some of it contributed by marciainak, death by degrees, damaged goods 0- - ? (Sorry, I can't recall the #'s!) & others..
