WHAT are you doing for Labor Day??!!

I am going to my friend, Debbie's picnic & since she was nice enough to invite me once again, I am doing the decorations! I just happened to walk in the door when KMart put out 70% off July 47th decorations. Since Debbs does all the patriotic holiday picnics, and invites me - I sprung into action & bought just about all they were putting out. I got plastic old fashioned glasses with red, blue, or white bands around the top & metal floral stakes with USA metal flags, Uncle Sam hats, and a metal star all with red, white & blue striped foil on them. I also bought 6" wide bright patriotic streamers & bows like they use for election campaigns. I will try to remember to take a finished picture when I am done!! I am also baking a patriotic striped white banana walnut cake for a special thank you!!

Jack squat. Just the way I like it.

My birthday's that weekend. Not doing anything for that either. I could go visit my extended family since they're having a thing on my birthday (nice of them to take it into consideration) but I refuse to put myself into a world of hurt to make that kind of a trip to see anyone.

Does watching a Met game from the comfort of my couch count? That's probably all I'll be doing for Labor Day...

Did not make decorations.. My friend did not want because that is just one more thing for her to store in her already "crowded" HUD apartment. (Another "abused HUD inspection survivor!) And, if our heat wave conitinues, there nay not be a pcnic. The date was changed to this Saturday before anyways!

    It still chokes me up. I had tears in my eyes again. I love Ted Lasso and would highly recommend watching it if you can. It is on Apple TV now season 4 episode 1 dropped on Wed and will continue dropping each Wed until season ends some time later this year.I must add I will gladly be paying the $19.99 per month to get these shows each week after my free 30day trial of apple tv ends from buying a...
