The best for me was staying home and not having to get out and drive in the snow.... the joy of my retirement,
the worst was the concern over my granddaughter getting her license and driving in it. Well when your young you don't fear, but it does worry me about other drivers out there.. they have these huge SUVS and believe they can go fast in them, makes me crazy how they drive...

THE BEST: I have had SO many bests it is hard to decide as to which to list: Almost one year ago, I had my "triple treat", my Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion in my conversion to Catholicsm... A total life-changing event; my thirteenth grandchild, my fourth grandson, was born as the first child of my second son who was third in my five children. I found my Soul Mate and plan a visit to his homeland this summer which truly adds to my earthly happiness; I had the honor of a personal visit from the 'Dread Pirate Roberts" to my home ( He certainly didn't disapppoint. He is a "larger than life" character with a great personality in person too. A good looking sweetheart with braids and a Texas style duster. A sexy man! (Sorry Dee- it had to be said!) He visited with his equally sweet and beautiful blande wife. THe whole crew was together here.) ; I became an Independent Avon Sales Representative ( I can now buy Avon up to 60% off with my representative's discount & make other people happy as I have decided not to take a profit so my rent won't go up. If you decide to follow suit-join under me as I am going to do a newsletter for my group); And, AT&T gave me a G4, Samsung Exhilarate Android Smart Phone for FREE.(I am tethering the nternet to my desk top as we are speaking. It has truly been a God-send. Which leads me to...

THE WORST: With this stroke-soaked brain of mine, I have a struggle with integrating numbers. I have a terrible time maintaining a check registry and, for that reason I think, practice 'avoidance behavior'. I do not maintain good records. I have been overdrawn on too many occaisiona. This has cost me dearly: I could no longer contribute money at church; It is the reason I couldn't pay my cable bill & got disconnected; (I disappointed many of you Good Neighbors aa I no longer had Internet to communicate with) ; I was unable to enroll in some non credit courses, to update my technology capabilities in order to help to fund the organization where I voluntee through grant writing; I got behind in paying for my Avon orders, and was unable to help a lot of other good people ...

But through it all, God had my back, through other people helping me and many other financial breaks on my bills, etc. I have come through it all. I just hate HOW I have disappointed other people...

Please, Good Neighbors, keep me in your prayers & good wishes that I can overcome this disability.

(This prior reply was very cathartic for me...Getting it out in front of me, I realize it's like I get a "mental panic attack when I pull out the check registry! I mean I completely "shut down and can't process my thoughts. Do any of YOU experience mental shut downs over anything? And, if you do, WHAT do YOU do about it? Good Neighbors, please help me out... Yews I feel very sorry for you in the U,S this winter seems to have really been nasty.
We have had our problems here too in the UK.
Why do we get treated to the weather from Russia and we never get any nice weather from the Tropics??

wish i knew. we don't really have a winter here. best would be discovering that by being green my bill for electric is a fraction of what it was and that my gas bill is non-existant! yay! that hot water really is a luxury, so are long hot soak baths. and that tv is an addiction and my stress level is way down because i never had cable put back in, however, it took about a YEAR to figure that part out. when you first unplug, its stressful that its NOT there. first red flag of an addiction i guess.

the bad? i'm on aspirin now, i was getting surges in my head and totally not okay. having other difficulties with that. numbness above my lip and bottom of my nose. it comes and goes. right now still on the same blood pressure meds. can't think of the rest. interesting idea for a post though.

BEST......my new puppy. She is a French Bulldog named Lola. She is the joy of my life, we have had other dogs and we have a lovely chocolate lab right now, but this is the first dog that is mine only.....she is quite the character and is a popular princess at the dog park.....LOL

WORST.....too many losses. 'nuff said.

WORST - Dealing with a continual UTI infection because of allergies to steroids.

the worst, no money for christmas

The worst, it was a long, hard winter and with all the ups and downs in temps and snowstorms it made my fibromyalgia pain the worst it has ever been.

The best, hubby got a promotion at work and gets to work with his brain more instead of just doing physical work.

Also, need to add, the overly long winter gave me a lot of time to figure out what I can and cant do with my life (due to physical and mental limitations) and it has led to some inspiration. No more sitting on my butt feeling sorry for myself! Time to get living and stop the pity party!

Where I live, the winter was rather mild. That was a good thing. However, around the time I started taking my daily walks, all of a sudden, the weather changed. We then started getting snow. I really missed my walks.

BESET: bought android technology both telephone & tablet cheap!

WORST: found new cell phone in bottom of dish water pan two days ago!

BEST: Found my Soul Mate.. Am saving for visit.

WORST: Can't find tax papers to do Income Tax!!
