OH GEE I am out of the loop really. Most my faves are OLDER shows-I don't watch much TV now a days

But here goes

1. PBS-shows-documentaries-concerts-travel-opinion
2.The Sopranos-was on HBO then reruns on A & E (An interesting character study-the violence was intense but good show)
3.Frasier (again an interesting character study of the Doctors Crane-Frasier and Niles, plus Roz, Daphne, Martin, the dog Eddie, Bulldog.
4 Big Bang Theory! (have discovered that one on youtube-GEEKS and NERDS rule!
5 Cheers (Where everyone knew your name, a great ensemble show of characters)
6 Lidia's Italy cooking show on PBS-great food-atmosphere-Lidia was very nice, comforting
7 MTV (WHEN it was music videos 24/7)
8 20/20 that news magazine show with Barbara Walters/Hugh Downs
9 Saturday Night Live (FUNNY skits)
10 Midnight Special-that music concert show that was on late nights in the 70's before MTV

They're not really in a particular order but I'll number them anyway just so I don't go listing too many...or not enough...I'm just going to go by what's currently on or recently finished to help me decide what to include (I watch a lot of British shows that run much shorter seasons than US shows so there are more of them to go around...but I digress...)

1. Downton Abbey (PBS Masterpiece Classic miniseries)
2. Being Human - the UK version (BBCA sci-fi drama about a vampire, werewolf, and ghost trying to live normal human lives and blend into society around them)
3. Doctor Who (BBCA sci-fi drama about an alien that travels through space and time helping save humankind/the world/the universe with the help of his trusty companions)
4. Modern Family (ABC comedy...pretty obvious what it's about)
5. CSI (CBS drama about solving crimes - you'd have to have been living under a rock not to know of it)
6. The Graham Norton Show (BBCA late night talk show)
7. Mike And Molly (CBS; see NDY's note)
8. Access Hollywood Live (daytime version of the evening entertainment news show)
9. The Wendy Williams Show (daytime talk show)
10. Jeopardy! (long running game show)

I no longer have TV - I gave my set to soemone who had none... I am getting a SMART TV next year that you can use as an Internet monitor also and am going to give dinner parties along with Power Point presentations to our Christian group benefactors to build our treeasury!!

I was thinking of doing "theme dinners" coordinating witht he movies like "Casablanca" with some old tiem classic dish.. What do you think about this?
